Court Advocacy

Gavel and Law BooksOur three outreach offices provide extensive individualized help to people who are victims of domestic abuse.  Some of the services we assist with are:

  • Safety Planning Information
  • Court Advocacy
  • Emotional support and information
  • Answering questions about, or advocate with, criminal and civil court systems, police departments, and other community resources
  • Providing information about legal options, including how to obtain orders for Protection from Abuse (PFA)
  • Accompanying domestic violence victims to court for final PFA hearings
  • Working with Pine Tree Legal Assistance and the Volunteer Lawyers Project
  • Providing 911 cell phones

We are not attorneys and do not provide legal counsel or advice.  Please contact the outreach office in your area for additional information or to discuss options.  All of our services are free and confidential.
